Job Summary:
DFW Sarcoma is seeking full-time Physician Assistant to join their elite team. Dr. Maale specializes in complex reconstruction of joints that have failed from previous surgeries, with a high percentage of limb salvage.Qualified Candidates:
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Master’s Program
- Certified as National Commissioned Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required
- Texas License
- Experience is valuable but quick learners without experience can be mentored
- Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude are important
- Full time Mon – Fri schedule
- This role would include both first assist in the OR as well as clinic
- Must be able to frequently use tools up to 20lbs in the OR
- Plan treatment and document using Meditech EMR and Centricity Clinic EMR
- Obtains medical history and physical exam from patients
- Analyze and implement plan for patient care based on above information gathered information eventually in independent fashion with physician available for supervision / discussion
- Maintains complete and accurate records of contacts with patients whether in person or by phone
