CRNA Job In Pueblo, Colorado
Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
We
are seeking a locums CRNA to join our hospital-based team in Pueblo, CO. The
position offers flexible scheduling with options for 5x8's, 4x10's, or 3x12's,
Monday through Friday. The practice setting is hospital-based, with an average
of 25 surgical cases per day, comprising 80% general, 10% complex vascular, and
10% complex orthopedic cases.
The
CRNA will provide anesthesia care for various surgical cases, performing
general anesthesia for adult patients. Preferred proficiency includes spinal
anesthesia, neurosurgical cases (spine), complex vascular cases (excluding open
heart), and complex orthopedic cases. The CRNA will work in a team care model
with 11 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs, typically under a 1:2 or 1:3
supervision ratio by anesthesiologists.
Locums
will work at satellite locations across the street from the main hospital. The
facility features 10 operating rooms equipped with GE Carestation 650s, and
utilizes EPIC as the EMR. Fellowship training is not required for cardiac or
pediatric cases.
