Locum Gastroenterologist Physician
Seeking a Locum
Gastroenterologist Physician in Lakewood, CO.
The physician will perform a range of gastrointestinal procedures
including scoping, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography),
Endoscopy, managing GI Bleeds, and evaluating GI problems. Preference is given to candidates with
experience in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS).
The practice serves adult,
geriatric, and adolescent patients. Pediatric patients are only admitted if
they are 15 years old and weigh 50 kilograms for trauma; otherwise, pediatric
patients are not admitted. The physician
will manage approximately 8-10 new patient admissions and follow-ups daily.
They will perform 5-8 scopes (endoscopic procedures) per day.
Qualifications:
·
Board Certification in Gastroenterology is
required.
·
Active Colorado medical license or
eligibility under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) with a Letter
of Qualification (LOQ) in hand at the time of submission is required.
·
Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
registration is required.
