Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Join Our Expanding Inpatient Behavioral Health Team in Oregon Wine Country
Willamette Valley Medical Center, located in the picturesque region of western Oregon, is seeking to add a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient behavioral health unit.
About the Position:
- Behavioral Health Unit: Currently features 10 beds, with plans for expansion.
- Experience Required: Previous experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is essential.
- Remote Psychiatrist Support: Available to assist as needed.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday with shared call responsibilities, supplemented by Tele-Psych services.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct new admissions.
- Provide daily patient care in the behavioral health unit.
- Evaluate and manage psychiatric patients on the inpatient unit.
- Provide psychiatric consults for medical-surgical patients.
- Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of treatment professionals, including RNs, Behavioral Health Techs, Social Workers, and Activity Therapists.
