Emergency Medicine Night Shift in SC

Start Date: ASAP
Shifts/Month: Approximately 12-14 shifts
Shift Timing: Night shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours)

We are currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team for locum tenens coverage. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with the flexibility to accommodate your schedule.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified: Emergency Medicine
• Licenses: South Carolina Medical License, CSR, and DEA (must remain permanently registered in South Carolina)
• Training: Must be Emergency Medicine residency trained
• Experience: Comfortable with all ages and all emergency medicine procedures

Assignment Details:

• ED Volume: 190 visits/day on average
• Facility Level: Level 2 trauma center (operates as a Level 1)
• Transfer Rate: Exceptionally low; transfers mainly for burns, amputations, and high-risk OB cases
• Support Staff: 5 APPs (mix of NPs and PAs), APP extenders, and scribes
