TeamHealth has a new day shift openings at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas. This is an established program between TeamHealth and HCA staffed with physicians that are all local to Austin. Our physicians work a traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule for both our day and nocturnist shift coverage.
St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a Level II trauma facility with 175 beds, with an open ICU. Our physicians are not required to do procedures or round within the ICU; we will take admissions back from them. During the day shift (7a-7p) there are a total of 6 physicians seeing 20-21 encounters; a swing physician (12p-12a) handling 10 admissions, and 1 physician and 1 APC (7p-7a) seeing 10 admissions. There is an in-house rapid response team handling codes, but each physician will respond if it is their patient. The EMR at all campuses is Meditech.
