Job Summary:
Austin Heart would like to recruit an APP to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Cedar Park and Leander offices.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified ACNP or PA
- Working with one interventional cardiologist
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Call: 12 weekends a year
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Primarily office-based position with some hospital rounding
- Future Leander hospital coverage opportunities
- Start date: ASAP
- Licensed in the state of Texas
- The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist
- The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
