UPMC Orthopaedics in UPMC North Central Pa. has a full-time opportunity for an advanced practice provider to join our team in Coudersport Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow the successful candidate to provide outpatient care in the practice and assist with surgeries in the operating room.

UPMC Cole is a modern, progressive system centered around a 25-bed critical access hospital located on a large, well-maintained campus with a service area covering more than 55,000 people living in six counties in North Central Pennsylvania and Western New York. UPMC Cole owns and operates eleven primary care and eighteen specialty medical practices located in Coudersport and the counties that surround the hospital.

CANDIDATE PARAMETERS:

· Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

· American Citizen or FMG

· Great communication skills and empathy are required

· Board-Certified

· New graduates considered

EMPLOYMENT ARRANGEMENTS:

· Hospital employment

· Initial agreement 36 month term, will consider longer terms

· Competitive employed base compensation with opportunity for production, quality and citizenship bonus

PRACTICE DESCRIPTION:

· Established practice with two orthopedic surgeons and five advanced practice providers.

· UPMC Cole Orthopedic Services is comprised of four total practices, located in Bradford, Coudersport, Emporium and Shinglehouse Pennsylvania.

WORK SCHEDULE:

· Start: As soon as possible

· Outpatient and inpatient along with OR rotations

· Call 1:5

· EMR system – Outpatient: Epic; Inpatient: Meditech, replacement system (Epic) is being planned for 2025
