Conemaugh Physician Group is seeking a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its employed cardiology practice in Johnstown, PA (70 mi east of Pittsburgh). We are a dynamic team of three non-invasive cardiologists and six advanced practice providers, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in both clinic and hospital settings. Our practice utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and EMR systems (Epic) to deliver top-quality care to our patients.
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is a 468-licensed bed Heart Failure and Chest Pain Accredited facility. In 2018, Conemaugh Memorial was only the second hospital in PA to receive the HeartCARE Center of Excellence designation from the ACC.
Primary Care HPSA site: J-1 waiver support via Conrad 30.
Clinic and Hospital Details
- Clinic Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible for hospital duties; typical split between clinic and hospital is 60/40 or 70/30)
- Hospital Duties: Up to 40-50 patients on census, with 8-10 new patients daily
- Clinic Volumes: 32-35 patients per day
- Call Schedule: 10 calls per month, 1 weekend per month (telephone-only, typically)
Equipment & Technology
- Outpatient clinic with testing facilities (stress, nuclear, echo)
- Advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment
- Strong CT program
- Access to structural, EP, and heart failure clinics
Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Non-Invasive Cardiology
- Interest in inpatient cardiology
- Experience with imaging studies including nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, PET stress tests, and TEEs
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Open to various experience levels
