Medical Residency Program Assistant Medical Residency Program/Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The Residency Program Coordinator provides project and administrative support to the Residency Program. Priorities for this job include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and optimizing resident schedules to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, program requirements, and educational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of resident schedules, duty hours, and related data.
- Provide general program support and assistance to the Manager and other leaders to ensure success of the Residency Program.
- Coordinate electronic training and documentation programs including training residents and faculty in operation and updating of systems.
- Provide support and documentation for resident recruitment, education, and evaluation.
- Support communication related to residency medical education activities including web-based development and maintenance of programmatic information.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: N/A
SKILLS:
- Complete assignments and critically think/problem solve independently and communicate when problems or barriers arise.
- Develop strong relationships with physicians, associates, and community partners.
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation)
- Ability to positively represent the organization with community partners.
- Use of technology to perform essential functions of the role ((EPIC, Microsoft Office, Outlook).
- Excellent reading, writing, and editing skills in English.
- Ability to multi-task and manage self in times of stress.
- Resourceful, initiative-taking.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related experience preferred.
