New Mexico Cardiovascular Associates (NMCA) is seeking a skilled and passionate Cardiothoracic Surgeon to become part of our growing, innovative team. Partnering with the renowned New Mexico Cardiac Care (NMCC) and Memorial Medical Center, NMCA is the leading practice in Southwest New Mexico, with ambitious plans to establish a combined shock program and expand into ECMO capabilities.Position Highlights:
- Extensive Experience: At least 5 years in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, including valve and coronary procedures.
- Advanced Skills: Proficiency in operative, preoperative, and critical care management for coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, ECMO, and complex aortic procedures (e.g., aneurysms and dissections).
- Preferred Expertise: TAVR training or a strong interest in minimally invasive structural heart procedures. ABMS/AOA Board Certification is preferred.
- Robust Support: Dedicated Cardiac ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage.
- Impactful Role: Serve a large population of 300,000-400,000 with flexibility for a balanced work-life schedule.
