CRNA Job In Troy, New York
Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
We are
seeking a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a
hospital-based practice in Troy, NY. This role involves working Monday through
Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On weekends, you will be required to take
24-hour call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and there will also be weeknight call
responsibilities from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
In this
position, you will provide anesthesia services across a variety of surgical
procedures in a hospital setting with seven operating rooms. Your primary
responsibilities will include administering spinal epidurals and managing
anesthesia for general surgery, endoscopy, vascular, OB, orthopedic, bariatric,
and urogynecological surgeries. Note that this role does not involve heart,
neurosurgery, or thoracic procedures. The hospital performs approximately 100
deliveries per month, with a low epidural rate due to the large midwifery
program. The section rate is about 15%.
Qualifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

New York State Nursing License
