We are seeking a Locums Anesthesia Physician to provide coverage in a hospital setting in Omaha, NE. This role involves working in a dynamic environment where the hospital performs approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries each year. The anesthesiologist will be responsible for managing independent cases with the support of a backup anesthesiologist on-site.
The physician will handle a wide variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, and gastric bypass procedures, along with minimal vascular cases. This position does not require any pediatric cases. You will work independently in administering anesthesia, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
- DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification.
- Active Nebraska state medical license.
