**Family Medicine opening - Rensselaer, NY** *Existing outpatient practice with strong patient demand and hospital affiliated practice support. **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - 4 of 5 day week - 40 hrs/week with 34 patient facing hours + call - Call is 1 in every 13 weeks - weeklong call from M evening to following M morning. Phone call only - Health Center provides a full range of health care services for the entire family, including pediatric medicine for newborns through age 17: well-child visits (routine, school, sports, and camp physicals); immunizations; adolescent health; sick visits by appointment; ADHD care; and hospital / ER follow up. - Adult medicine services for established patients include routine care for illness, injury, and chronic medical conditions; preventive health and wellness screenings; routine immunizations and preventive inoculations; routine physicals (including employment, insurance, and school physicals); and sick visits by appointment. - This practice also offers refugee health assessments in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health. Clinical social workers are onsite for consultation, assessment, and referrals. **Compensation and Benefits:** - Salary range: $240,000 and $265,000 per year with incentives - Health, Dental, Vision insurance - Paid malpractice, including post-SPHP employment tail coverage. - CME time & expense allowance - Paid time away from the practice. - Retirement savings program with employer matching program **Requirements** - BC/BE - Strong desire to work with refugee population
