Facility Details:
Facility Medical Center is seeking a board-certified colon and rectal residency-trained surgeon to join its Division of Colon & Rectal Surgery. The division consists of six colorectal surgeon faculty members practicing advanced endoluminal resections, robotic surgery, and preoperative pelvic surgery. The ideal candidate should have completed a general surgery residency and colorectal residency accredited training program with five to fifteen years of clinical experience. This full-time position offers the opportunity for a leadership role within the division or the institution, depending on the qualifications of the candidate. Qualifications:
- Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
- Board Certified by the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.
- Successful completion of ACGME accredited Colon & Rectal Surgery Residency Training.
- Eligible for State of Massachusetts medical licensure.
- Possess excellent clinical, laparoscopic, and endoscopic skills with a strong interest in teaching and mentoring residents and students.
- Training and/or experience with robotic colorectal surgery is desirable.
- Colorectal surgery call only (no general surgery call).
