**Pediatric Anesthesiologist opening in Delaware**
- *Located in Wilmington, DE - Philadelphia 30m*
- Full-time, permanent position
**Job Description:**
- Call coverage with on-site availability within specified time periods.
- Provide anesthesia services to all obstetrical patients in a professional and competent manner.
- Be present on-site at the hospital 24/7 during obstetrical patient admissions.
- Available by telephone and on-site within 30 minutes for the first 24 hours post-recovery period.
- Periodically assess equipment needs, pharmacy, laboratory concerns, and the delivery unit's physical plant.
- Work with system services to ensure compliance with supply and equipment standards.
- Diligently work to expand the medical practice.
- Perform, review, and interpret procedures, studies, and services consistent with training and privileges.
- Cooperate with system in day-to-day operations, ordering supplies, and record organization.
- Assist with performance improvement initiatives, including participation in networking and community education.
- Assist in the recruitment of additional professional staff members.
- Follow applicable clinical and non-clinical Quality and Safety system practices outlined.
- Participate in initial and ongoing simulation drills to ensure safe patient care.
