Hospitalist needed in Lake Charles, LA
- Lake Charles is 75m from Lafayette, LA and 150m from Houston, TX
- Full-Time; Permanent
- Direct employment by hospital
- Daytime rotation Wed-Tues
- Current Hospitalists: 10 daytime Hospitalists and 2 Nocturnists; Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians
- Open ICU
- Responsible for Critical Care patients and admit to ICU
- Pulmonary & Critical Care Coverage available someone is always on call for consults
- Census per day split evenly among Hospitalists
- Patient population - adult, geriatric, no pediatrics
- 7 on/7 off 7am to 7pm
- Not able to take J-1 or H1-B
- Procedures optional
- No vent management and do not currently run codes (but this could change)
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) plan and deferred compensation plan are offered
- Starting bonus
- Relocation reimbursement
- Student loan forgiveness
- Paid professional liability insurance
- CME and Dues/Memberships reimbursement
