Surgery Orthopedic Physician Assistant

We are seeking a full-time
Surgery Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team in Coos Bay, OR. This
position requires a day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities that will
be determined based on the number of providers sharing the call. The ability to
work weekends occasionally is also required.
In this role, you will
collaborate closely with the attending physician to prepare and record patient
histories, develop and implement care plans, and participate in daily rounds on
assigned patients. You will document pertinent symptoms, findings, diagnoses,
and care plans using the electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring
accurate order entry and comprehensive documentation.
As a key member of the
multidisciplinary team, you will participate in rounding, respond to coding and
documentation queries, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives as
requested.
Qualifications:

Board-certified as a Physician Assistant (PA)
·
Oregon license or be willing to obtain one
·
Minimum of two years of work experience as an
inpatient Orthopedic PA is preferred, this does not include training
