Locums Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
(NNP) to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Summerville, SC. This role
involves providing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, with
evening and overnight shifts.
The shift hours for this position are from 5:00 PM to 9:00 AM,
totaling 16 hours. The facility has a bed size of 124, with a NICU consisting
of 12 beds and an annual birth rate of approximately 2,712.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to neonates
in the NICU and collaborating with a medical team consisting of one MD and one
other NNP per shift. The role involves performing assessments, diagnosing, and
developing treatment plans for critically ill newborns. The successful
candidate will use EMR systems, Meditech and PremieHR, for accurate and
efficient documentation and ensure adherence to best practices and protocols in
neonatal care.
Certification
Requirements:

Board Certified
as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Certification in
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
·
Active South
Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure.
