Locums Emergency Medicine Physician
We
are seeking a qualified and experienced Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to
join our team at a hospital in Marie, MI. This facility includes 49 beds, with
9 dedicated to obstetrics, and offers comprehensive emergency care supported by
a trauma team. The emergency department handles approximately 45 visits per
day, providing a dynamic environment for patient care.
In
this role, you will deliver high-quality emergency medical services to patients
presenting with a variety of urgent and emergent conditions. Responsibilities
include managing both routine emergency cases and collaborating with the trauma
team as necessary. You will work 12-hour shifts, with options for either 7 AM
to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Accurate and thorough documentation using the Meditech
EMR system is required. The position involves approximately 8 shifts per month,
with a preference for a minimum 4-day stretch.
Requirements:
·
Board
Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Emergency Medicine.
·
Current
certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma
Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life
Support (BLS).
·
Active
Michigan medical license and DEA registration, or an Interstate Medical
Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification.
