**Locums Gastroenterologist Position in Bay City, Michigan** **Coverage** - Start: ASAP - End: June 13, 2025 - Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM Friday 7:00 PM (24-hour call coverage, no weekend call) - On-call hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM; Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM **Position Details** - Practice Setting: Hospital-based with a nearby GI clinic - Required Procedures: ERCP - Support: Hospitalist support, 2 colorectal surgeons in the community - Location: Bay City, MI **Requirements** - Michigan State License: Required (IMLC accepted with proof of LOQ if 60+ days out) - Board Certified in Gastroenterology: Required - ERCP Experience: Required - DEA: Required at start - COVID-19 Vaccination: Required - Local providers preferred - Clean malpractice record required for quick credentialing **Facility Details** - GI clinic location: Less than half a mile from the hospital - Lodging and travel reimbursement: $150 cap, no taxes reimbursed due to tax-exempt status, follow the clients travel policy - Credentialing Timeframe: Per site policy, quick credentialing possible for providers with clean records.
