Neonatologist Opportunity in Spokane, WA
Responsibilities
Pediatrix is seeking a BC/BE neonatologist to join our physician/neonatal nurse practitioner team in Spokane, Washington. Our group provides on-site service seven days per week, 24 hours per day at Sacred Heart (Level -IV NICU) and Deaconess (Level-III NICU) Medical Centers. These NICUs are located in downtown Spokane and are crucial referral hospitals for newborns in mid and eastern Washington state as well as Northern Idaho and Western Montana.
- Sacred Heart Medical Center has a 60-bed unit with an ADC of 50 and approximately 800 admissions annually, offering ECMO, high-frequency and conventional ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide, and boasts an active pediatric cardiothoracic surgery and MFM program.
- Deaconess Medical Center has a 44-bed unit with an ADC of 18.
- Growing practice to include rotations through lower-level community hospitals, all within a 10-mile, 20-minute radius.

Benefits and Compensation
Pay Range (Base Pay): $235,000 - $275,000
Other Types of Pay: Bonus potential.
Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:

NOTE: Team members at least 21 years old and are active full-time or part-time employee are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Plan at the time of hire. Team members who meet the plan’s minimum age requirement can enroll in the plan at any time, and contributions will begin as soon as administratively possible.
Team Members are eligible to begin participating in the ESPP if they have been employed by Pediatrix for two consecutive months prior to the start of each calendar quarterly offering period and are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for five consecutive months during the year.
Paid Sick Leave:
Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year.
NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
