Responsibilities
We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Neonatal hospitalist to join our practice at WellStar Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Georgia.
- Seeking BC pediatrician with NICU/ NRP experience to provide coverage for our 18 bed MBU nursery and our growing 4-6 bed Level-II NICU
- Full time position includes a scheduled rotation of 7 days on/7 days off with considerable flexibility in scheduling (providing a total of 15 - 24H covered shifts per month) and rotating holidays
- Schedule includes rounding on both units during the day and call from home at night
- Skilled NICU nursing staff attends all deliveries, MD called to attend only complex/very premature deliveries
- Ideal candidate will have experience with bread-and-butter care of premature infants as well as neonatal procedures
- No circumcisions
