**Locums OB/GYN Position in Worcester, MA** **Coverage** - Start: ASAP - End: May 1, 2025 - Schedule: Monday-Friday in outpatient clinic, minimal call required - Call Type: In-house - Estimated Patient Load: 40 deliveries per month **Position Details** - Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient - EMR System: Cerner - Responsibilities: Clinic follow-ups, return OB, GYN, triage, and same-day sick visits **Procedures/Skills Preferred:** - Low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) - Amniocentesis, vaginal and C-section deliveries, breech, multiple births, VBACs - Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, cystectomy), office procedures (IUD, colposcopy) - Support: Dedicated anesthesia team for L&D, additional OB/GYN providers from other groups - Deliveries: ~950 per year, Level 2B nursery - High-risk cases are transferred to nearby hospital **Requirements** - Board Certified in OB/GYN - Active MA License required - Certifications: ACLS, BLS - Must provide 3 peer references from the last 2 years - Recent OB experience required - Malpractice claims: Must have less than $500k in claims history **Facility Details** - Nearest Airports: Worcester Regional, Boston Logan - Lodging: Recommendations available upon request **Credentialing** - Estimated Timeframe: 30-60 days
