Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their North Florida Division is seeking an experienced Hematopathologist to be based at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital located in Gainesville, FL. This is a high level hematopathology opening that will help to support a newly established Blood Cancer Program.HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.
Qualified Candidates:
- Leadership/directorship experience required
- AP/CP and hematopathology board certification required
- Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for a community hospital practice
- Ability to sign out hematopathology and flow cytometry cases
- Experience with setting up a flow cytometry lab preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Active Florida Medical License or eligible to obtain
