Job Description

Summary:

Skagit Regional Health is seeking an Invasive or Non-Invasive Cardiology trained physician to join our well established practice in Mount Vernon, Washington due to rapid growth and increased demand. Highlights:

  • This physician will join an experienced and collegial group of 7 General Cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, and 9 APPs, along with a full complement of clinical support staff.
  • This position encompasses the full scope of Cardiology responsibilities including inpatient rounding, reading Cardiology testing results and outpatient appointments. Inpatient activities supported by our strong Hospitalist program.
  • This position will require rotation between the main clinic location in Mount Vernon and a satellite office roughly 30 minutes away.
  • Shared weeknight and weekend call rotation among the physicians.
  • Our Cardiology practice has the support of a thriving referral network from our in-house primary care providers, ensuring a substantial patient volume from day one.
  • Teaching opportunities exist with Medical Students from PNWU and Residents from our own SRH Residency Program.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ACGME accredited fellowship program.
  • Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license.
  • The ideal candidate will place a priority on quality of care, patient experience and collaboration.
  • Our ideal candidate will be focused on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

  • Guaranteed first year salary: $551,511
