Southern Minnesota Urgent Care position in a Private Multi-Specialty group with a very low turnover rate amongst their physicians. This is an opportunity to join an efficient Urgency Care Department which is part of a large, well-established, multi-specialty group practice in business for over 100 years. Urgency Care hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. There are no Call or hospital privileges required.

Minimum staffing is 5 providers and 10 nurses.   6 Emergency Department style rooms, 10 exam rooms.   Average 20-25 patients per 12-hour shift.   See acute illnesses, minor injuries and work comp.   On-site Infusion Therapy, Sports Medicine, Lab and Diagnostic Imaging.   Alterra touchworks EMR.   Urgency Care Physicians work 60 to 72 scheduled hours every two weeks. This position requires you to work 12 hour shifts and every 4th weekend. You will get your schedule 60 days in advance and have the ability to sign up for additional days..  Work / life balance is an important part of physician's culture at the clinic. .  Annual physician turnover averages 4%, well below industry norms..  Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Full-time is 32 Patient Contact Hours weekly with 4 hours of administrative time, and a four-day workweek option is available..  35 vacation days annually plus 7 paid holidays off.  Generous health benefits plan, $6,600 CME allowance annually and profit-sharing 401(k).
