Locums OBGYN Hospitalist Physician
We are
seeking a dedicated and experienced Locums Hospitalist OBGYN Physician to join
our team in Mishawaka, IN. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient
care in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with a focus on
delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecological services.
This
position requires 24-hour coverage, with shifts encompassing all aspects of
hospitalist OB/GYN responsibilities. The role involves managing both routine
and emergency cases in a hospital setting.
As a Locums Hospitalist OB/GYN Physician, you will be responsible for
providing comprehensive care for obstetric and gynecological patients,
including those in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Your duties will
involve managing and responding to labor and delivery cases, handling high-risk
pregnancies, and performing emergency procedures as needed. You will
collaborate with the hospital’s multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal
patient outcomes, conduct patient assessments, and develop treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
within 5 years of residency (ABMS/AOA certification required).
- Active Indiana medical license at
the time of submission.
- Current certifications in NRP
(Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life
Support).
- NCC certification in Fetal Heart
Monitoring.
