We are searching for a full time
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Orthopedic Surgery with a focus on Trauma in
our Goodyear, AZ location. The NP/PA will play a crucial role in providing
high-quality care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders.

The position will involve:
Patient Assessment and
Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with orthopedic trauma
conditions. Assist in diagnosing injuries and developing appropriate treatment
plans.
Treatment Planning and
Execution: Collaborate with the orthopedic surgery team to plan and execute
treatment interventions for trauma patients. Assist in surgical procedures and
postoperative care.
Patient Education: Educate
patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and
preventive measures.
Collaboration with Healthcare
Team: Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare
professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Documentation and Record
Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including
progress notes, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Emergency Response: Be
prepared to respond to orthopedic trauma emergencies, both in clinical and
hospital settings.
Continuing Education: Stay
current with advances in orthopedic surgery and trauma care through ongoing
education and training.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery.
- Current licensure in the state of Arizona.
- Experience or strong interest in trauma care within the field of orthopedic surgery.
