Locums OBGYN Physician

We are seeking a Locums OBGYN Physician to provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in Woodland, CA. This role requires managing a full scope of OBGYN duties in both clinic and hospital settings, including office visits, procedures, surgeries, on-call responsibilities, and deliveries.  The position involves 24-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Coverage will be required for ambulatory clinics for office visits and procedures, as well as hospital outpatient and inpatient settings for surgeries, on-call duties, and deliveries.  The physician will provide a full scope of OBGYN services, including prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care, as well as gynecological surgeries and routine women’s health procedures. Responsibilities include managing both outpatient and inpatient cases, performing all usual and customary procedures associated with an OBGYN practice. 

Requirements:

·         Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

·         Valid DEA certification

·         BLS and DEA certifications are required

·         NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are highly preferred

·         Must hold an active California medical license

·         Experience with the Cerner EMR system is required.
