Locums Urology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Urology Physician for a locum tenens position in Durango, CO. In this role, you will provide high-quality urological care to patients in both clinic and surgical settings. The position involves a combination of clinic visits, operating room time for various urological procedures, and on-call coverage.As a Locums Urology Physician, your primary responsibilities will include providing patient care in the clinic, where you will conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for a variety of urological conditions. You will also perform urological procedures in the operating room, ensuring the highest standards of surgical care. The position requires participation in on-call coverage, including night shifts from 4 PM to 7 AM and 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, including weekends. You will utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and patient management, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and high patient satisfaction. Compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and urology standards of practice is essential.Requirements:

• Board Certified in Urology (Board Eligible candidates will not be accepted)
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at the time of submission)
• Active BLS certification and DEA registration
