**Full-Time/Permanent Position**
### Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
#### Position Overview:
Seeking a BE/BC Plastic Surgeon to join a growing team providing:
- General plastic surgery
- Cosmetic surgery
- Microsurgical and implant-based breast reconstruction
- Maxillofacial trauma
- Cancer/trauma reconstruction
- Cleft/craniofacial care
The integrated plastic surgery residency program offers opportunities for:
- Teaching, research, and program development
- Leading an accredited cleft program for candidates interested in cleft care
- Collaboration with a reconstructive and cosmetic referral base, providing a foundation for a thriving practice
The department is supported by a team of physician assistants, nurses, and staff, with strong interdisciplinary collaboration across the system.
#### Responsibilities:
- Repair, reconstruction, or replacement of physical defects involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, craniomaxillofacial structures, hands, extremities, breasts, trunk, and external genitalia
- Apply aesthetic surgical principles in all reconstructive procedures
- Design and perform grafts, flaps, free-tissue transfers, and replantation
- Manage complex wounds, use implantable materials, and perform tumor surgeries
#### Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania
- Skills in patient care, procedural skills, professional etiquette, and systems-based practice
