We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Interventional Radiology Physician to provide hospital coverage at our General Acute Care Hospital in Grass Valley, CA. This facility is stroke certified but not accredited as a Chest Pain Center and does not have a trauma level designation.
The primary responsibility is to cover the hospital's Interventional Radiology (IR) needs along with providing coverage for Stroke CTs and other necessary procedures. Required procedures include Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, and Suprapubic Catheters. Additionally, the role involves performing CT/Ultrasound Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, and other biopsies), Barium Studies, and Lumbar Punctures.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Board Certified in Radiology
- DEA Registration
- Active and unrestricted California medical license
