The Oklahoma Heart Institute hires a full-time 1st Assist PA or ACNP to join our nationally recognized cardiac program in beautiful Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate needs to be driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They must be coachable and willing to practice at the top of their license. The team would prefer candidates with some cardiac experience but is open to new grads eager to learn the specialty. Be part of a strong APP/First Assists team working with progressive, busy surgical practice. We’re growing and will have 5 surgeons by Jan 1, 2025: 3 CT and 2 vascular, with plans for continued growth in the vascular surgical department.
About this First Assist ACNP/PA Job Opening:
- Join a team of 5 Surgeons & 4 APPs
- Mon-Fri, rotating call for holidays, weekends, and weekdays amongst other 1st Assist APPs
- Daily Patient Load: 2-4 surgeries per day (varies)
- EMR: Epic
Minimum Requirements:
- Board Certified/Eligible Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- First Assist skills require
- Experience in Vein Harvesting, Chest, and Vascular Surgical Cases is required
