Role Overview:
- As a collaborating physician, you will play a vital role in our post-acute care practice by providing oversight and consultation to our nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Establish collaborative agreements: Formalize partnerships with NPs and PAs
- Facilitate regular communication: Conduct monthly group video meetings to discuss clinical matters
- Offer expert guidance: Provide clinical oversight and consultation on complex cases
- Chart Review: Complete a monthly chart review, per state requirements, typically 10%
- Medical degree: MD or DO with an active medical license in Missouri
- Psychiatric expertise: Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Collaborative experience: Proven ability to work effectively with NPs and PAs in a collaborative setting
- Interdisciplinary teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborating with healthcare professionals from various disciplines
- Ethical standards: Adherence to ethical principles and best practices in clinical care
- Missouri residency: Must be a resident of Missouri
