We are seeking a skilled Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Mason City, IA. This role involves providing anesthesia care in a variety of settings, including routine and complex cases.
The position requires working Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. The role includes some call responsibilities, with weekend call from Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 6:00 AM.
You will be working in a Level III trauma center, using Cerner and paper charting systems. The types of cases include OB, general surgery, GI, bariatric, urology, orthopedic, neuro, cardiothoracic, and some ENT cases (primarily done at the local ASC), along with some pediatric cases.
Requirements:
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Active Iowa license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) Required
