We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide safe, quality, and age-appropriate anesthesia in accordance with the clinical privileges approved by the Anesthesia Department. The CRNA will administer anesthesia, monitor patients during surgeries and other medical procedures, and provide both pre and post-anesthetic evaluations. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining informed consent for anesthesia, managing induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care, as well as providing consultation on airway management and participating in codes as directed.
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care in accordance with established protocols.
Supportive role in resident and medical student education during anesthesia rotations.
Flexible work schedule with on-call, weekend, and holiday availability required.
Must have reliable transportation to travel between facilities.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program (AANA).
Successfully passed the national certifying examination within one year of program completion.
Active RN and APRN license in the State of Oklahoma with prescriptive authority.
PALS and/or ACLS certified.
NBCRNA certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) certified.
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and age-specific care needs.
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
Proficiency with computer systems and Windows applications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
