**Locums Gastroenterology Position in Rockport, Maine** **Coverage** - Start: ASAP - End: Ongoing - Availability: Ideally 2 weeks per month **Position Details** - Practice Setting: Outpatient (Office/Clinic), Endoscopy in OR - EMR System: Epic - Patients Per Day: 14-16 in clinic - Support Staff: Full OR staff, CRNA, and Anesthesiologist present - Procedures: Endoscopic procedures in the OR; scopes; therapeutic procedures (advanced procedures preferred but not required) - Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only - Call Type: None - Days: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch - No weekends, no overtime unless preapproved **Facility Details** - Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days - Onsite Lab and X-ray Available - Travel: Full travel coverage provided **Requirements** - Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) - License: Active ME license preferred - Certifications: ACLS, BLS required - COVID and flu vaccinations required **Skills Required** - Gastroenterology scopes and therapeutic procedures (ERCP not required) - Advanced procedures preferred but not mandatory **Additional Information** - No weekends or call responsibilities. Excellent anesthesia support with both a CRNA and Anesthesiologist present during procedures.
