There are 26 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of daily APC coverage. Many backup specialties are available such as: anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more!
If you are board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM), you are just right for this role. You must be able to demonstrate active practice in an ED reflective of the privileges requested, successful completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research within the past twelve (12) months. ACLS, PALS, ATLS (expired accepted) are required.
