Join the growing team of Advanced Practice Providers of the Regional Medical Center! This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant to join our team of highly trained Orthopedic Surgeons, providing care for a diverse group of patients with a full spectrum of orthopedic surgical needs.
Job Description
As a Physician Assistant, you will round on patients in the hospital, see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic, and provide surgical first-assist support in the operating room. We are looking for a qualified candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments and establish treatment plans.
Perform patient rounds in the hospital.
Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures.
Manage patient care in the orthopedic surgery clinic.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Job Qualifications
Board Certification as a Physician Assistant.
Prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances.
Current certifications in CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
12 years of experience in Orthopedic or General Surgical settings preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
