Job Summary:
Mission Health, partnered with TeamHealth, is seeking experienced physicians to join a highly skilled team within our state-of-the-art facility in Asheville, North Carolina.About the Emergency Department:
- 94-bed ED
- Annual ED visits: 100,000+
- Daily APC coverage
- EMR: Cerner FirstNet
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Dedicated Pediatric ED
- 1.7 - 2.1 patients per hour
- Academic Affiliation: Yes, EM residents
Schedule
- Shifts: 8 – 9 hours shifts
- No call
- Malpractice: Coverage with tail
Additional Facilities:
Mission Hospital’s team also supports other regional facilities, including Mission Hospital McDowell, Angel Medical Center, Transylvania Regional Hospital, Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, South Asheville FSED and Highlands-Cashiers Hospital. While the primary location is Mission Hospital, physicians may have PRN privileges at these additional sites.
