**Locums Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Hartford, CT** **Coverage Need** - 7 on / 7 off rotation for 9 months - Inpatient coverage from 8 AM - 5 PM at the hospital, followed by unrestricted call from 5 PM - 8 AM (from hotel) - APP support overnight; MD takes first call **Position Details** - Setting: Inpatient coverage, non-invasive testing (nuclear stress tests, TEE) - Average Admissions: Consults only, 25-40 patients per day with APP and Fellow support - Trauma Level: Level One - Total Beds: 600 (locum covers 25-40 patients) - ICU Beds: 42 (locum covers 1-10 with Fellow support) - Cardiologist Group: 12 total, including 7 non-invasive cardiologists - Supervision: APP and Cardiology Fellows - EMR: EPIC **Submission Requirements** - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology - Active CT License required - ACLS required - Local candidates preferred (only mileage reimbursed) **Skill Requirements** - Echocardiography - Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) - Electrical Cardioversions - Electrocardiograms (EKGs) - Treadmill Stress Tests - Chemical Stress Tests
