Job Summary:

Austin Heart would like to recruit an advanced practice provider to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our San Marcos location.
 
Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA
  • Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
  • Working with one non-invasive cardiologist and one APP at the San Marcos office and local hospital 
  • Flexible schedule: PRN, Part-Time or Full-time 
  • Call every 4-5 weeks alternating between a call weekend (Thursday-Sunday) and during the week Monday-Thursday
  • Both inpatient rounding and outpatient work
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Possible outreach clinic days in Wimberley, TX, Kyle, TX, New Braunfels, TX and Lockhart, TX

  • Austin Heart is the largest cardiology group in Central Texas with over 48 physicians, 50 APP's and 245 employees
  • We have been serving the community for over 25 years in our 12 full time offices covering a service area of the size of the state of Maryland
  • Austin Heart offers comprehensive clinical services including a robust research program
  • The cardiologist will see patients primarily at Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC). This 113 bed hospital has a broad spectrum of services. CTMC has a coronary interventional program. Heart surgery cases are transferred to the Heart Hospital of Austin.

San Marcos is the largest city in Hays County, just 30 minutes south of Austin, TX.
