We are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Program Director/Academic Physician to lead our AOA-approved Internal Medicine Residency program. This is a university-affiliated position that offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to shape the future of internal medicine training.
Job Highlights:
Lead the Internal Medicine Residency program, providing administrative and educational leadership.
Job Description:
Engage in direct patient care while supervising and precepting residents in clinical settings.
Collaborate with residency support staff and assist in resident recruitment.
Develop, revise, and maintain the residency curriculum, ensuring it meets accreditation standards.
Lead performance improvement initiatives, coaching, remediation, and disciplinary actions for residents.
Oversee and teach the didactics curriculum to residents.
Ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching in an AOA or ACGME-approved Internal Medicine Residency program.
Proven experience in publications and grant writing is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with a flexible schedule to accommodate both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits:
