Responsibilities
Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV has an opening for a BC/BE Pediatrician to work in the ER along side a PEMs physician.
- We are a busy unit with a volume around 50k.
- You will utilize all of your training, and you will see quite a range of disease processes.
- We look for change agents...build off of the positives and present solutions for opportunities...everyone's voice counts.
- We host 6 residency programs (Peds, ER and FP), a Pediatric ER Fellowship Program, and a PA externship program.
- You can do as much, or as little teaching as you want.
- Our coverage in the unit is more than adequate.
- Our subspecialty support includes Neurosurgery, GI, Neuro, ID, Ortho, Neo, ICU, CVICU, Hospitalists, Cardiology, and Endo...soon to be adding on Heme Onc.
- Full time is 12 shifts per month, but we will consider a 0.75 FTE and you will still get benefits...Health, Dental, Vision, Matching 401k, EAP, CME PLUS we cover boards, licenses, ACLS, PALS, NRP, AAP, etc...
- Associate Medical Director owns the schedule and is also the Vice Chair of Peds...
- We have engaged and awesome Residency and Fellowship Directors.

Qualifications
BC/BE Pediatrician
To be eligible for this position you need recent hospital cases, ie right out of residency or currently working as a Pediatrician in an ER.
