Job Description

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania (1.5hr East of Pittsburgh) is looking to grow with the addition of an employed, full-time BC/BE Neurosurgeon  to  strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered. 

Position Detail:

Sub-specialty fellowship training welcomed, especially in spine or trauma

Well established practice with other providers and  mid-level assistance

Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center, as well as Epilepsy Monitoring Unit

Teaching opportunities for medical students and PC residents  

LifePoint Health:

J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty

Johnstown gained national attention in May 1889 when the South Fork dam broke causing a devastating flood taking 2,209 lives. In years following the flood, immigrants still arriving in Johnstown brought customs, religions and cuisines of their homelands, all of which contributed to the now heritage-rich character of the city.
