Acute Care Neurosurgery Physician
We are
seeking a skilled and dedicated Acute Care Neurosurgery Physician to join our
team in Rapid City, SD. This role involves providing specialized care for
neurosurgical patients in an acute care setting, including both inpatient and
emergency cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
neurosurgery, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering
high-quality patient care.
As an Acute
Care Neurosurgery Physician, you will be responsible for managing and treating
patients with acute neurosurgical conditions. This includes performing
emergency neurosurgical procedures, such as craniotomies, spinal surgeries, and
other complex interventions. You will oversee patient care from the point of
admission through postoperative management, working closely with a
multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from
an accredited institution.
- Board
Certified in Neurosurgery.
- Minimum of 5
years of experience in acute care neurosurgery, with a strong background
in managing complex cases and performing emergency procedures.
- Active South
Dakota medical license or the ability to obtain one.
