Locums Neurology Hospitalist Physician
We
are seeking a Locums Hospitalist Neurology Physician to join our team
in Richmond, VA. This position involves providing specialized neurology care
within an inpatient neuro consult service setting. The physician will be
responsible for managing and treating neurological conditions, including
consultations and rounding within the hospital.
The
typical working hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM
to 6:00 PM. The on-call requirements follow a 7 on/7 off rotation, where there
is a 24-hour window to see a consult during the on-call period. The average
number of patients per day is approximately 15 inpatients. The physician will
be expected to round in multiple areas, including the Emergency Department
(ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and six other designated units. Responding to
in-house codes is not required.
Certification Requirements:

Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Basic
Life Support (BLS)
·
Board
Certified in Neurology
·
Valid
Virginia medical license
