Urgent Care Physician
We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician who is interested in community health and working in a rural setting to join our team in Oregon. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing immediate medical care and treatment to patients in an urgent care setting, ensuring they receive high-quality and timely medical attention.
Schedule: 40 hours/week; 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts/7 days a week.
Compensation: $277,745
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Active medical license in the state of Oregon (OR).
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urgent Care or Family Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and injuries in an urgent care setting.
- Perform physical examinations and assessments to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, blood work, and EKGs.
- Prescribe medications and provide referrals to specialists as needed.
- Administer minor procedures, wound care, and basic suturing when required.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient care.
