Radiology Technologist
We
are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team in
Arizona. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in
assisting physicians with diagnosing medical conditions by performing
radiologic procedures and maintaining essential equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform
daily warm-up of digital x-ray equipment and DEXA scanner.
- Prepare
and instruct patients on proper positioning to obtain accurate images.
- Adjust
and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring proper processing of digital
radiographs.
- Maintain
equipment and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
- Ensure
the safety of patients and staff by providing appropriate radiation
protection.
- Generate
radiology consultation requisitions and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare
and distribute digital radiographs and interpretative reports to ordering
providers.
- Assist
providers in understanding and evaluating images.
- Manage
supply inventory and order needed supplies.
- Attend
staff meetings and participate in leadership activities as required.
- Create
appointments using NextGen.
- Establish
and manage relationships with imaging contractors for scheduling and
reporting purposes.
- Perform
other administrative tasks as needed or requested.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate
of Science degree (AAS).
- Certification
as a radiology technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT).
- Current
Arizona State License as a Radiology Technologist.
- Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Valid
Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Previous
experience as a radiology technologist or related field strongly
preferred.
